The WAV Lab is a DBA and operated by Sounds Like Joe LLC. But it’s much more than that. This facility has been a community resource for York County SC and the greater Charlotte NC region since it was opened as Satellite Recording Studios in 2007. The space was restored and renamed and reopened to the public in 2020 (the greatest time in history to open a recording studio). The WAV Lab and Sounds Like Joe LLC are both owned and operated by Joe Miller. Additionally, long time friend and regional music treasure Jason Poore is in residency at the studio. He is a frequent session musician on our projects and teaches a full roster of music students weekly from Mon-Thurs evenings. Latest addition to the studio staff is Ryan Certo, studio assistant and assistant engineer.
